inspiration
video games:
Vampires The Masquerade: Bloodlines - Oki, I admit this was a great inspiration and a starting point. DiD actually started out as a sort of alternative to the Vampires story. You'll definately recognize some of the parts in DiD in case you've played Vampires.
American McGee's Alice - There is an Alice episode (ep 6 I think) in DiD which was most definately inspired by this wonderful game.
Doom 3 - An absolutely beautiful game and a great inspiration for the Nightmare Section.
Half-life 2 - I know, I know. I must be a mega-geek.
Counterstrike - Not that I've ever played it that much...
manga:
Chobits by CLAMP - I couldn't escape Chii it seems like. The way Molly doesn't remember her past is just one of the Chii-complexes I seem to suffer from.
Clover by CLAMP - I love the abscense of screentones in this one. Need to use less screentones. This manga made me feel better about having Molly crushing on an 'older' man (ep 3).
Card Captor Sakura by CLAMP - Aren't Molly and Toma an older version of Sakura and Tomoyo? O.O
XXXHolic by CLAMP - CLAMP again. Another manga that really appeals to me.
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e by Hisaya Nakajo - Triangle drama is not my major in DiD, but this manga sure is inspiring when it comes to depicting emotions.
Fighting Maidroids - This manga obviously helped me a bit on the way when it comes to inspiration for my maids.
And obviously... real life. The relationship that
Molly has to Caine doesn't come from nowhere, ya know! ;D
